This year, 2010, we
intend to refresh our Parish Plan which was initially
published in 2007. This will be your chance to have a say in the future
of
Wyboston, Chawston and Colesden.
We have been offered the opportunity by Bedford Rural Charities Commission
to be one of two parishes to join in a pilot scheme with the Bedford Borough
Partnership Board. This is an inclusive confederation of all of the
organisations and bodies who, in some way, are working to improve the
quality of life of people in the Borough of Bedford.
The meeting will hear updates from the existing Parish Plan working groups
and then discuss the way forward for our Parish Plan.
We will be joined by Dave Hodgson Mayor of Bedford and Co-chair of the
Bedford Borough Partnership Board, Tom Wootton our local Borough Councillor
and Zoe Ashby from the Bedford Rural Charities Commission who will explain
the aspirations of the Bedford Borough Partnership Board and how we can all
benefit in the future.
